Blossom UX School is an affiliate of the design agency
Code Design Lab Ltd (Company No. 11750278, VAT 327 621900), located in London, United Kingdom.
All legal provisions are drafted in accordance with UK law.​

DefinitionsProject: The largest unit where a design outcome is completed.
Course: Divided into UXUI Course and Product Course, each consisting of 2 projects.
Session/Lesson: Basic unit of classes, usually 3 hours in group settings; duration may vary by participant count.
Cohort: Group of students taking the same session.
Prep Study Materials: Pre-course materials provided upon payment via email.

1. Registration and Refund Policy
1.1 Registration
1.1.a Overseas Wire Transfer (Full Payment)

Payment via Wise or bank transfer. Korean students receive an additional 5% discount on international card fees.
1.1.b Overseas Wire Transfer (Installment)
Maximum 5-month installment plan available.
1.1.c Card Payment (Full Payment)
Amount specified after consultation.
1.1.d Card Payment (Installment)
Default 6-month installment via website. Adjustments available by contacting hello@blossomux.school.​
1.1.e Late Payment
Installment payments overdue by 14+ days may result in suspended access to materials/sessions until payment received. Late fees or collections referral may apply.​
1.1.f Age Requirement
Students must be 18+ years. Minors require written parental/guardian consent submitted to admin@blossomux.school.​
1.2 Tuition Refund
Refund requests processed within 7 days. Refunded amounts may vary due to exchange rates (not school's responsibility). All refunds exclude a £200 basic processing fee unless otherwise stated.​
1.2.a Before Course Start
1.2.a.i More than 1 Month Before Start
Default £200 fee for prep study processing.
Bank transfer: Full amount minus £200 + transfer fee.Card payment: Amount minus 3% gateway fee + £200.Other platforms (WeChat/Alipay/Clara): Amount minus 3% + platform fee + £200.​
1.2.a.ii Less than 1 Month + Replacement Student
Same as 1.2.a.i.
1.2.a.iii Less than 1 Month + No Replacement
Full tuition paid: 45% refund + attend up to 24 classes.Less than half paid: Continue paying to 55% total + attend 24 classes.More than half but not full: Refund excess beyond 55%.Platform fees apply. Registration discounts canceled; original tuition recalculated.​
1.2.b After Course Start1.2.b.i Regular Courses
Before completing 25% of course: Same as 1.2.a.iii.After 25% completion: No refund available.
1.2.b.ii Short-term Courses
Non-refundable.
1.2.c Special Refund Conditions
1.2.c.i Prep Study Materials & Cooling-off

Upon payment, prep materials are automatically provided. By accessing/downloading these materials, you acknowledge and consent to the loss of UK Consumer Rights Act 14-day cooling-off rights. Full refund (no fees) available only if materials remain unaccessed within 24 hours of payment.​
1.2.c.ii Instructor Attribution Refund (Period-Independent)
If the assigned instructor cannot deliver sessions AND no replacement is available AND failure is due to instructor fault (unauthorized absence 2+ times, curriculum non-delivery, inappropriate conduct), full refund available regardless of course progress. £200 fee waived. Students must provide evidence (recordings/chat logs). School investigates within 7 days.​
1.2.c.iii School Attribution
Platform failure or course cancellation due to school reasons: full refund .
1.2.c.iv Force Majeure
Course suspension due to uncontrollable events: remaining tuition refunded or converted to online alternative.​

2. Course and Sessions
2.1 Course Cancellation and Suspension
If fewer than 2 students registered, course may be canceled/integrated. Canceled courses offer private lessons (5 minutes = 1 session).​
2.2 Session Suspension
Teacher/school reasons: Session not deducted.Public/national holidays: Session not deducted.Student absence: Allowed once per 3 months with pre-arrangement. Exceeding limit without notice = attendance deducted.​
2.3 Session Delivery
3-hour sessions via school-provided video conferencing software. All sessions recorded; cohort members receive recordings. Teachers may vary per project. Sessions may be divided; teachers may change accordingly.​
2.4 Postponement and Holding
2.4.i Course Postponement (Delaying Start)
First postponement: Allowed regardless of reason.Second postponement: Valid reason required.
Break Clause: Total postponement exceeding 12 weeks nullifies refund eligibility.
2.4.ii Class Holding (Temporary Suspension)Timing: Only at course completion, not mid-course.Duration limit: Maximum 6 months.School obligation: Offer placement 2+ times during holding period.
Refund policy: Holding period counts toward course duration. Exceeding 12 weeks (Break Clause) nullifies refund eligibility.​
2.5 Post-Completion Mentoring Sessions
Mentoring sessions after course completion are complimentary and not part of paid course period. Excluded from instructor policies, refund calculations, and enrollment terms in Section 2.​
2.6 Technical Requirements
Students must provide stable internet, compatible devices, and video conferencing software (Zoom/Teams). Technical issues on student side do not constitute grounds for refunds or session credits.​
2.7 Force Majeure
School obligations suspended during events beyond reasonable control (war, pandemic, infrastructure failure). Sessions postponed; refunds for canceled portions only if alternative delivery impossible.

3. School and Student Protection
3.1 School Materials and Intellectual Property
All course materials (recordings, slides, templates) are copyrighted by Code Design Lab Ltd. Students receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal learning only.
Commercial use, redistribution, or external sharing prohibited. Violators subject to legal action. Project outcomes created by students are co-owned by student and Blossom UX School; portfolio use permitted with attribution.​
3.2 Creating a Positive AtmosphereSchool may prohibit registration for:
Verbal abuse/morally reproachable behaviour toward teachers or cohort members.Lack of diligence or disruptive attitude deteriorating class atmosphere. Deliberate profanity/defamation toward school or teachers.
Students have the right to raise concerns.
If deemed appropriate, Blossom UX School must protect students via teacher replacement or supplementary sessions for:Teacher delays 10+ minutes or lack of diligence.Failure to achieve expected results (excluding portfolio subpages) despite project completion.Teacher profanity/defamation or verbal abuse.​
3.3 Student Obligations
Attend sessions punctually; repeated tardiness (3+ times) may result in cohort transfer.Submit assignments/projects by deadlines; failure may delay course completion.Maintain respectful conduct per Section 3.2; violations may result in immediate termination without refund.​

4. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
4.1 Internal Complaint Procedure
Students may raise questions or complaints anytime regarding course content, instructors, or operations via admin@blossomux.school.​
Response obligation: School responds within 7 calendar days.
Resolution obligation: Claims processed within 2 months of receipt.
If deadlines unmet, school notifies student of reasons and revised timelines.
Limitation: School responsibility limited to issues formally raised via admin@blossomux.school.
Unconfirmed/unreported matters excluded.​
Complaint Templates: Available upon request for instructor, cohort, or operational issues.
4.2 External Dispute Resolution
If unsatisfied with internal resolution, students may escalate complaints to external alternative dispute resolution (ADR) bodies. All students are subject to UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and English law regardless of payment method (Korean PG, card, wire transfer) or location.​
Primary ADR Channel (All Students)The Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA) at www.oiahe.org.uk is the designated independent body for education-related disputes. OIA provides free, impartial resolution services for all enrolled students.
​Optional Channel for Korean Students
Korean students may voluntarily choose to submit complaints to the Korea Consumer Dispute Mediation Committee (KCDC) at www.kca.go.kr for mediation in Korean language. However, KCDC decisions are non-binding for UK-registered companies, and English law remains the governing framework.
Final Recourse
If ADR does not resolve the dispute, all students may proceed to London courts under exclusive UK jurisdiction. This uniform process ensures equal treatment and prevents differential policies based on payment country or method.

5. Privacy and GDPR CompliancePersonal data (email, payment info) processed per
UK GDPR.

6. Limitation of Liability
Blossom UX School provides services with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee employment outcomes or specific career results. Liability limited to tuition paid; indirect/consequential damages excluded.​

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
7.1 Applicable Law

Code Design Lab Ltd is a UK-registered company. All transactions, including those via Korean payment gateway agents, are governed by UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 as primary framework. This ensures equal treatment regardless of payment location/method.​Korean e-commerce law (7-day cooling-off) applies supplementarily where applicable, but UK law prevails in conflicts to prevent differential treatment.​
7.2 Jurisdiction
Exclusive jurisdiction: London courts. Students consent by registering, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws.​

8. Amendments to Terms
Blossom UX School may update Terms with 30 days' notice via email to registered students. Continued use after effective date constitutes acceptance. Material changes (refund/payment) require explicit consent.​

9. Official Communication and Record Retention
9.1 Email as Official Channel
All communications requiring documentation (enrollment, complaints, refunds, suspension, withdrawals, administrative matters) must be sent via email to admin@blossomux.school. School responds to official matters exclusively via email to registration address.​
9.2 Slack for Academic Purposes OnlySlack provided solely for academic convenience (class discussions, quick questions, peer collaboration). Slack messages do not constitute official communication and are not retained for legal purposes. Students cannot rely on Slack for complaints, refund requests, or contractual matters.
9.3 Record RetentionEmail records: Retained 3 years post-course for dispute resolution.​Slack messages: Not archived; students must email admin@ for permanent records.Student obligation: Update email changes within 7 days via admin@blossomux.school.
9.4 Unrecognized ChannelsSocial media DMs, phone calls without email confirmation, or verbal agreements are not legally binding. School responsibility limited to documented email communications.​

10. General Provisions
Severability
: If any provision is unenforceable, remaining terms remain valid.​
Entire Agreement: These Terms + Privacy Policy constitute complete agreement; prior communications excluded.​
Waiver: School's non-enforcement does not waive rights.​
Assignment: Students cannot transfer enrollment; Blossom may assign to affiliates.​
